Beskrivelse
BeskrivelseSangerOnCourtSteps2.jpg
English: Margaret Sanger, her sister, Ethel Byrne, and Fania Mindell, on the steps of a courthouse in Brooklyn, New York, on January 8, 1917. This photo was taken during a trial accusing Sanger and others for opening a birth control clinic in New York. All three were found guilty.
The photo is available from Corbis at [1] The Corbis web site suggests the photo is copyrighted by Corbis, but that may not be accurate, since the photo was of a widely publicized trial in New York in 1917, and almost certainly was published in 1917, so any copyright would have expired.
