A White army´s leaflet dropped from an airplane to the Red defenders Of Tampere during the Finnish Civil War of 1918: "To the people and troops of Tampere! Resistance is futile. Raise a white flag and surrender. The blood of [our] citizens has flowed enough. We don´t kill our prisoners as Reds do. Send your delegation with a white flag. -Mannerheim"
