English: Tiananmen Square on 4 May 1919. Around 3,000 students from 13 universities in Beijing gathered there to oppose Article 156 of the Treaty of Versailles which handover a German possession in China to Japan (Shandong Problem). This officially sparked the May Fourth Movement.
Español: Plaza de Tiananmen el 4 de mayo de 1919. Alrededor de 3.000 estudiantes de 13 universidades de Beijing se reunieron allí para contra el artículo 156 de Tratado de Paz de Versalles que entregaba las concesiones alemanas en Shandong a Japón (Problema de Shandong). Esto provocó oficialmente el Movimiento del Cuatro de Mayo.

Works of Chinese origin that have entered the public domain in the U.S. due to certain circumstances (such as publication in noncompliance with U.S. copyright formalities) may have had their U.S. copyright restored under the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (URAA) if the work was under copyright in its country of origin on the date that the URAA took effect in that country. (For the People's Republic of China, the URAA took effect on January 1, 1996. For the Republic of China (ROC), the URAA took effect on January 1, 2002.[1])
