Manfred Mann's Earth Band er et rockeband startet i 1971 av musikeren Manfred Mann. Bandet er kjent for sine singelhits «Blinded by the Light» fra 1976, skrevet av Bruce Springsteen, og «Davy's on the Road Again» fra 1978, av John Simon og Robbie Robertson.

Etter at bandet Manfred Mann ble oppløst i 1969 og Manfred Mann Chapter Three sluttet i 1970, satte Manfred Mann i gang med å samle musikere til et nytt band. Manfred Mann gikk bevisst inn for å danne et band som skulle fjerne seg fra hans tidligere band Manfred Manns popmusikk. Manfred Mann Chapter Three var en slags ekstrem forgjenger, med sin eksperimentelle jazz-rock.
Manfred Mann's Earth Band skulle være et kompromissløst band med musikken i sentrum, men med et litt mere salgbart tilsnitt. Bandets første seks album hadde samme besetning, med Mann på keyboard, Mick Rogers på gitar og vokal, Colin Pattenden på bass og Chris Slade på trommer. Slade skulle senere bli kjent som medlem av bandene AC/DC og Asia.
Bandets store gjennombrudd kom med en singelhit i form av Bruce Springsteen-låten «Blinded by the Light» fra bandets album The Roaring Silence i 1977, hvor også sangen «Questions» er hentet fra. Singelen «Davy's on the Road Again» fra bandets neste album, Watch fra 1978, ble også en stor hit. Dermed var Manfred Mann's Earth Bands rykte som et hitmaker-band etablert, uansett Manfred Manns egne ambisjoner for bandet.
Bandet har hatt flere vokalister, først gitaristen Mick Rogers som også var vokalist. Men Chris Thompson regnes av mange som Manfred Mann's Earth Bands "stemme", Thompson var vokalist i periodene 1975–1986, 1996–1999 og 2004. Nåværende vokalist er Robert Hart.[1]
Manfred Mann's Earth Band har også blitt kjent for å spille inn coverversjoner av andre kjente artisters mindre kjente sanger, og har hatt suksess med dette. I tillegg til Springsteen-låter, har bandet spilt inn en rekke låter av Bob Dylan samt låter av blant andre Joni Mitchell, Lennon/McCartney, Randy Newman, Bob Marley og Jagger/Richards. Manfred Mann's Earth Band eksisterer fremdeles, og er stadig vekk på turné rundt om i Europa.[1][2]
