Palsseingen er ved [[drabantby]]en Talluamarine med 6&nbsp;541 innbyggere, 23 km nord for [[Melbourne]]. Den eies og drives av [[Australia Pacific Airports Corporation Limited]]. Flyplassen ble vedtatt utbygget i 1959 for å erstatte [[Essendon lufthavn]], som hadde sprengt kapasitet. Offisiell åpning ble foretatt 1. juli 1970.
