Den første norske sesongen ble sendt i [[2018]] på [[TV3 (Viasat)|TV3]], mens andre sesong ble i [[2020]] sendt på [[TV 2]]. Sesong 3 ble sendt i 2024, mens sesong 4 ble sendt i 2025 på TV 2.

== Konsept ==
Konseptet går ut på at deltakerne har gått gjennom en test hvor de ser hvem som passer best sammen. Deltakerne må forsøke å finne som make, og vinner dersom de ender opp sammen med den de har best match med. Programmet som sendes i Norge har nøyaktig samme regler.

== Første sesong (2018) ==
Den første norske sesongen av serien ble spilt inn av [[TV3 (Viasat)|TV3]] på [[Gran Canaria]] og hadde premiere [[26. august]] [[2018]]. Av alle parene er det kun Sveinsdottir og Dalhaug som fortsatt er sammen (pr. april 2025).

Ingen av parene er lenger kjærester, men vinnerne Klemp og Haukland var sammen i nesten to år etter ha vært forlovet siden april 2021.

== Tredje sesong (2024) ==
Den tredje norske sesongen av serien skulle blitt spilt inn av [[TV 2]] på [[Gran Canaria]] og ha premiere i [[2021]] med [[Morten Hegseth]] som programleder. I august [[2023]] kunne TV 2 under sin høstlansering avsløre at sesong 3 blir en virkelighet, og at innspillingen ville skje på nyåret 2024 i Maspalomas på Gran Canaria med Morten Hegseth som programleder også denne gangen.<ref>[https://www.tv2.no/underholdning/love-island-norge-tilbake-pa-tv-2/15982650/ HØSTLANSERING 2023: «Love Island Norge» tilbake på TV 2] TV 2</ref> Denne sesongen skulle imidlertid ikke seerne stemme på sine favoritter, og sendingene ble ikke sendt i sanntid dagen etter innspilling slik som i de foregående sesongene. [[24. januar]] [[2024]] annonserte Hegseth at han trakk seg som programleder for «Love Island». Innspillingen av sesong 3 startet [[6. februar]] 2024, og første episode ble sendt [[4. mars]] 2024. Selv om "superfansen" har stemt gjennom hele sesongen var det seerne som bestemte hvem som vant. Ettersom innspillingen lå fire uker bak sendeskjema på TV og innspillingen for lengst var avsluttet da finalen ble sendt, valgte de derfor å spille inn tre ulike sluttscenarier. == Fjerde sesong (2025) ==

Innspillingen startet [[14. januar]] og finalen ble innspilt [[17. februar]] [[2025]]. Årets sesong varte dermed i rekordlave fem uker, men fremstilles som syv uker ettersom deltakerne i årets sesong hadde innspilling syv dager i uken uten to fridager som i de to forrige sesongene.<ref>[https://www.tv2.no/underholdning/gjor-stor-endring-foler-at-du-aldri-far-puste/17536971 «Love Island»: Gjør stor endring: – Føler at du aldri får puste] TV 2</ref>

Første episode ble sendt [[10. mars]] 2025. Voiceover denne sesongen var, som i de to foregående sesongene, komiker Egil Skurdal.

Finalen ble sendt [[25. april]] 2025, og vinnerne ble Camilla Ellinor De Souza Devik og Nicklas Olai Karlsen Sundsvåg. Av alle parene er det kun Devik og Sundsvåg, Eikedalen og Røhne, og Hjelmhaug og Sire som fortsatt er sammen (pr. april 2025).
